Annual Picnic
Hello everyone
Our annual picnic was again a smashing hit. It turned out to be a fine autumn day. It was not too cold nor was it
too warm. There was plenty of food to go around, and I’m glad to say that everyone took full advantage of it.
About 30 club members attended, and most of them fished before and after the picnic, so I am happy to say
that everyone had a great time. I was able to meet a few new members that Sunday, and I must say that it was
a pleasure to meet all of you. We were all in good company.
The raffle was very generous again this year thanks to Craig + Mary MacBride for organizing it. And, special
thanks go to Harold McMillan at the Housatonic Outfitters for helping us with some of the raffle prizes. Just
about everyone won something, and thank you Craig for putting my raffle tickets in the bag this time.
I would like to thank all of the club members for helping Mallory and I out with the cooking and the cleanup. I
am looking forward to the next outing, and I hope that all of you are too.
